In afissos everything is just a few steps away. The village center is a small paradise in itself containing a fresh water stream surrounded by giant palm trees. The town church, Saint Marina is located just beside the center. The top of the stream that cuts through the town center is where the bakery stands, providing the fresh bread and pastries daily.
The main street that runs alongside the entire coastline of the town filled with cafes, restaurants, pubs and fresh fruit juice stops. This is where you can also satisfy that desire for fresh fish, grilled meats and homemade traditional meals.
At night you can walk alongside the water from beginning to the end of the entire town on the main street. Park benches are available for star gazers or if you just want stop and enjoy the southing sound of the water. You can visit the gift shops for that special something for that special someone or just stop and enjoy a traditional pastry for that sweet tooth. Every night is filled with festivities, music and dancing during the summer months.
If you’re someone that prefers the tourist attractions and traditional Greece style excursions there are more than plenty tourist offices in town that can provide cars, scooters, mountain bikes or even boats and sail boats. Everything and anything is available to satisfy even the most demanding visitor.
